Coach A: 11 years, 114-62 .648 winning percentage, 10-5 post-season .667 winning percentage, 8 winning seasons, 9 non-losing seasons
Coach B: 15 years, 104-75-9 .581 winning percentage, 3-1 post-season .750 winning percentage, 10 winning seasons, 11 non-losing seasons
Coach C: 12 years, 97-87 .527 winning percentage, 8-3 post-season .727 winning percentage, 6 winning seasons, 7 non-losing seasons
Coach D: 20 years, 170-150 .531 winning percentage, 12-7 post-season .632 winning percentage, 10 winning seasons, 12 non-losing seasons
Coach E: 20 years, 170-138 .552 winning percentage, 8-6 post-season .571 winning percentage, 10 winning seasons, 13 non-losing seasons

Coach C is in the hall of fame.
He had the lowest regular season winning percentage of the five.
He had the lowest number of winning seasons and tied for the lowest rate of winning seasons (50%) of the five.
He had the lowest number of non-losing seasons and the lowest rate of non-losing seasons (58%) of the five.
Coach B had a higher winning percentage, a higher post-season winning percentage, a higher rate of winning seasons and a higher rate of non-losing seasons than Coach C.

Coach C is Tom Flores
Coach D is Tom Coughlin
Coach E is Mike Shanahan

Flores and Dungy have similar arguments as minority head coaches where both played--though Flores first hispanic starting pro QB--were head coaches, again Flores first hispanic HC--and both SB winners with both getting voted in as minority firsts.

Flores also was part of every Oakland/LA SB championship team that helped him get elected. Also one of only four players I believe, who was on an AFL roster during its entire league existence. Like Seifert, he also followed another HOF coach.

We all know Parker should have been elected, but a number of voters circumvented the rules and by-laws of the HOF to keep him from getting his deserved gold jacket. A sham.

frankly since the 2020 Centennial class, the voters have made a complete mess of the coach queue, now only made worse by having them compete directly with seniors and contributors.

Its a tough queue either way ... Unlike Parker, Flores was fortunate enough to parlay his two 80s' championships into the HOF. Being a minority player and HC gave him a leg up on other multiple championship winners in Seifert, Coughlin and Shanahan. What is weird was Vermeil getting elected with only one championship over those other four with two? Why didnt Holmgren get the same consideration two years ago? Especially coaching in three SB games? Even if the coaches category got seperated from the seniors or contributors, it may be awhile for an older coach to get elected.

Then of course, they change the rules where a HC can be eligible after a season out of the league, so what do they do? ... they reject a six time champion with nine conference championships.
Belichick should be a shoo-in this year but its doubtful we will see another first-ballot coach elected again. If they did, it would look even more stupid, especially with Reed coming up, who isnt no Belichick, though in fairness, he won with three different QBs, while Belichick only won with Brady.

Then there is Dan Reeves, whose career is similar to Levy and Grant ... can he somehow bypass the four, multiple championship winners, or even Holmgren? Does the rejection of Parker and Holmgren shut the door on Reeves, Shaw, Knox, Schottenheimer and Collier?
