2025 Wild Card Weekend
As usual, an exciting time of the year, with hopefully, the best teams like cream, rising to the top. Were some of the top seeds just flukes, or poised to take the next step? Were some of the lower seeds better than their record? We will see in games that are exciting, competitive and hopefully consistently called and interpreted, by the officials. Integrity has to be preserved for the best time of the season from every coach, player and officials.
Predictions
NFC
Rams
Packers
Eagles
AFC
Bills
Patriots
Steelers
Are the Patriots primed to be primetime winners in night games this postseason? Could this be their year, or will the Seahawks, Broncos, Eagles and Rams say otherwise? Can the Eagles advance, hoping to repeat? Can the Bills advance as well, without KC or Baltimore to worry about?
Lots of eyes on the Packers and Bills these next two days. Losses could have repercussions with Jim Harbaugh searching for his next head coaching job. The Steelers will be in the spotlight as well monday night. Can Rodgers help keep Tomlin in Pittsburgh and win his first postseason game since the 2020/21 season?

Some dumb plays from the Rams to close the first half. With a chance to go up 20-7, they go for it on 4th down where Stafford throws an incompletion when he could have eaaily ran for the first down. Then, Lake puts his hands on the receiver for an easy pass interference that helps the Panthers move up the field to score and cut the deficit to 17-14. Nacua just drops a sure TD pass.

And just like that, the Rams drive down the field and take the lead with :38 seconds left. Can the Panthers tie it?

Man...on the 15th - and two day - anniversary of 'Beast Quake', the below-500 Panthers almost pull it off as well against a HC/QB/team that has been a contender as of late and experienced winning a Super Bowl!
Thank God it didn't happen and now let's enjoy the playoffs!
No offense to Panther-fans. I hope they further improve next season. But let's make it double-digit wins, at least! Some consistency as well!

Kind of baffling how a defense can contain the Rams offense the entire second half until the final minutes? I feel bad for the offense coming from behind despite two turnovers. Had Nacua caught that bullet TD pass to go up 24-14, the blowout might have commenced but the Panthers kept fighting. They will be much better next season.

When the Texans came back to beat the Jaguars I predicted on another forum that this AFC was going to be the type of season similar to NFC in 2008 where you got lower seed hosting conference title game. I predicted that it would be #7 at #5 in AFCCG and one of those would be Houston. I figured they would lose at least 2 and get the #7 spot but with them at #5 so far so good.

Bears need to score and fast. Defense has been on skates since the SF game. Love and Doubs are playing well.

Sheesh, a replay of the first game ... can the Bears find a way?
Here we go again ... can the Packers march down like the Rams earlier?
What a comeback ... Packers blew it! Does LaFleur keep his job?

Competitive game in Jax with Allen once again taking a beating.
Jax needs to keep running because Lawrence has been lucky not to have multiple interceptions.
Can Buffalo pull it out in the final two minutes? Offense has been very spotty today but the Jags have played well.
Buffalo gets the win with the Jags blowing coverage on a huge pass to Cooks. An interception seals the game.

Re: 2025 Wild Card Weekend
Was hoping to get bantering for these games but everybody must be honed in ... haha ... 49ers basically butchered the last minute of the half but have thrown the ball well in a tight game. I never understand why they dont run Robinson Jr more?
The Eagles game plan is good but Brown couldnt get to those big passes before the half.
Another down-to-the-wire game with the 49ers showing grit on both sides of the ball. Can the Eagles score the winning TD with 2:00 minutes left?
The Champs are unable to defend their title. A strange year for Philly. Is it time to move on from AJ Brown?
