Dont agree with alot of these ... 93 Cowboys were better than 92 and even up with the 77 team from an era before the Mel Blount rule.
Yep, 1969 Chiefs over any Mahomes team. Would take the 1980 Chargers over 1994 but close. Would take 73 Dolphins over 1972 with a full-health Griese.
1959 Colts any day over 2006. Even the 68 team was better. Agree with 62 Packers but close. 66 Packers won two Championship games. Very close on 84 and 89 49ers. Close, but would take the 1998 Falcons over 2016. Toss-up on 2004 and 2007 Patriots. 75 and 78 Steelers are very close.

The 1976 Pats were the best team in that franchise's history.
There, I said it. Their offense was better at running back, TE, and O-line than the 07 Pats, and they had a better defense (even though the stats don't bear that out).
Also, they played In a somewhat tougher division with the Colts going 11-3 (the second place team in the 2007 AFC East was 7-9).

Hoo boy. Another one of these lists. They're interesting, and I might be guilty of making a few.

True, but I feel the '59 team was better and defended their championship, similar to Miami in '73, SF in '89, Dallas in '93, Denver in '98 and NE in 2004.
