There is an indication that after finishing their regular season 3-13 the Montreal Alouettes lost an Eastern Conference semi-final playoff game 20-16 to the Ottawa Rough Riders.

How did a team with such a poor regular season record qualify for the playoffs?

I think tomorrow and Christmas Eve are the 75th anniversary of the 1950 playoff games and Championship. I do not know much about the Giants / Browns and Bears / Rams, but is it safe to say the Championship game between the Rams and Browns was one of the best ten of all time?

Just one man's opinion (as a Dallas Cowboys' fan). I think the 1975 Steelers were the best team in the last fifty years. Part of this is because there really was not space for top draft selections like Dave Brown and Walter White. I think their defense would make quick work of today's teams.
