Re: 2013 Seahawks Secondary vs 1998 Vikings Receivers
Due to rules changes that gained momentum after the 2011 CBA, the Vikings receivers might have benefitted against this group, but it would have been tough to do alot on the Legion Of Boom. Moss had the great speed but Earl Thomas had range to double him along with Thurmond, Maxwell, Browner or Sherm...

Re: Which Super Bowl drought do you find the most surprising?
If someone had told me back in 1996 that the Cowboys would not make the SB again, I wouldnt have believed it. Especially with coaches like Parcells, Wade Phillips and Mike McCarthy coaching the team. Garrett could coach offense but seemed more of a Jerry's Kid. Maybe as a former fan I am being sour ...

Re: '85 Bears vs '92 Cowboys
I dont feel McMahon and the receivers would have done much against the Cowboys. Payton would have been a load for those smaller Cowboys linebackers, however. The key would have been the Bears offensive tackles getting movement on Haley and Tolbert, who set good edges and defended the run well. Watch...

Re: 2000 Ravens=1980 Raiders
Cool similarities 7D ... both had to win four postseason games to win it all. In both seasons, they also faced each other in postseason--though the Ravens had moved from Cleveland--

Re: Why Tom Coughlin is my #1 coach on the ballot
Its true that Holmgren and Coughlin had better success with multiple teams than Shanahan and Seifert, but despite getting hot at the end of the 2007, 2011 seasons, I still considered the Giants more a fluke champion than the 1997-1998 Broncos back-to-back winner. Shanahan simply couldnt replace John...

Re: Which Super Bowl drought do you find the most surprising?
With the Browns becoming an expansion team in 1999 and the Lions being inept in a number of ways, its not surprising their droughts but the biggest surprise is the Vikings--despite a wealth of various talent throughout decades--not going back to the SB since 1977.

Re: Coaches with two SB/NFL championships - make it make sense please
Flores and Dungy have similar arguments as minority head coaches where both played--though Flores first hispanic starting pro QB--were head coaches, again Flores first hispanic HC--and both SB winners with both getting voted in as minority firsts. Flores also was part of every Oakland/LA SB champion...

Re: Don Meredith, Danny White, Tony Romo, and Dak Prescott
We all seem to forget that Craig Morton actually won a conference championship, unlike everyone on this list. Then won another with Denver. Cowboys fans have to speculate what might have happened had Morton led the Cowboys from behind against SF and started against Washington, but Landry felt Stauba...

Re: What do you consider the greatest quarterback match-up in a Super Bowl game?
Though Darnold and Maye are newer, or closer to being "superstar" QBs, I dont believe than there will be any other SB matchups in the future without heralded, star QBs. This league is about maximum tv ratings and just like small market teams winning it all other than GB, Pitts or KC, I don...
